Digital Cairo Software is a small software company that aims at creating simple and affordable off-the-shelf software solutions for variety of users. Our experience in software development comes from 5+ years of freelance software development and implementation using different platforms and operating systems, building different applications for different domains using different architectures. This experience includes developing of-the-shelf Windows desktop applications.

Currently our initial and sole commercial product as a company is Simple EMR, an Electronic Medical Records desktop application for Windows. Find out more about it in the product page.

Our first freeware product is Medical Calculator, a free simple Java 2 Micro Edition (J2ME) Midlet for calculating Body Mass Index and converting few common measurement units used by physicians. It can run on numerous mobile devices supporting Java ME. Check it out at the product page.

News update (February 3rd 2009):

- A maintenance release of Simple EMR, which includes some bug fixes, has been posted on the web site and is now available for download at the product download page.

- We have completed a French version of Simple EMR with metric measuring units and we are currently in the pre-release test phase, more updates to follow.
